REGULAR CLEANING CHECKLIST

Kitchen

  • Mop or vacuum kitchen floor
  • Dust and vacuum kitchen area rug(s)
  • Wash and disinfect kitchen countertops & backsplash
  • Clean kitchen doors (inside and out) and door handles; outside based on weather conditions
  • Scrub and sanitize kitchen sink and faucet
  • Wash top surfaces of all appliances, including stove, hood, fridge, and dishwasher
  • Thoroughly clean microwave, inside and out
  • Wipe down kitchen table(s) and chairs
  • Remove spider webs from corners
  • Spot clean and wipe kitchen cabinets
  • Clean and wipe windowsills
  • Wipe down baseboards
  • Empty trash cans and wastebaskets
  • Clean light switches and electrical outlets
  • Countertops and tiles cleaning
  • Exterior of appliances (fridge, oven etc.), interior and exterior of microwave cleaning 
  • Stove cleaning
  • Cleaning of cabinet doors and handles (exterior only)
  • Cleaning and sanitization of sink and faucet
  • Empty trash, replace liners

  • Make the bed and change linens (Please leave new sheets out for service)
  • Bed making (change sheets if provided)
  • Dusting of all surfaces: furniture, headboards, nightstands
  • Mirrors cleaning

  • Dust windowsills, baseboards (lightly), and wall corners

  • Remove spider webs from corners

  • Surface dusting: shelves, TV stands, coffee tables, decor items

  • Scrape off paint
  • Clean up pest droppings (pigeons, mice, vermin, etc.)
  • Stand on kitchen counters to clean top of cabinets
  • Vacuum under furniture/sofas that are not accessible
  • Clean homes with severe mold or mildew
  • Move heavy furniture (over 20 lb / 9 kg)
  • Clean blood, feces, vomit or urine (human or pet)
  • Clean homes with extreme clutter or hoarding that poses a safety risk
